Young Singer of Dyfed
‘These masterclasses are open to young singers who want to benefit from a FREE individual masterclass on Saturday 31 January or Sunday 1 February 2026. The masterclass will be led by professional singer and vocal coach Gail Pearson, and accompanist Rhiannon Pritchard.
The masterclasses will take place at Rhosygilwen near Cilgerran
These classes which will help singers with:
- musical interpretation
- phrasing, articulation and dynamics
- vocal technique
- developing good stagecraft and performance techniques
Who can take part?
These masterclasses are open to young singers who are:
- under 19yrs on 1 September 2025
- living in or attending full time education in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion or Pembrokeshire.

The deadline for applications is Friday 5 December 2025
These masterclasses are free to you, but the high cost of providing them when an increasing number of appointments are missed is not sustainable. While we do not want to do so, we have decided that we will now require a £10 payment to secure your booking. This amount will be fully refunded to you after you’ve attended the masterclass or if we receive an apology and explanation for the absence in advance.
